This is a detail of my watercolor painting, which depicts Northwestern University's famous Weber Arch framing University Hall. When painting, Niki paid great attention to detail in the architecture as well as the landscape to capture the exact essence of this iconic scene in hopes to commemorate the hard-work and warm memories for students and alumni. The icy blue, deep purple and light lemon yellow color palette capture the lakeside nature of the school and accent the gothic architecture.

So far the use of net has grown regularly and the medium has got matured. But the arena around it has changed.
